「山の自然学」おもしろい。当たり前のことなんだけど、自然は人間から自律したシステムで生きていて、その仕組みは長い年月をかけて形成されている。人間化している山もあるけど、やっぱり基本的には人間にとっての他者なんだなとおもう。

あと、著者の山・環境の読み方が考古学的考証みたいでおもしろい。たとえば島に高山でもないのに飛び地的に残っている高山植物群から、氷河期時代の陸続きの頃には（現代の）高山植物が広がっていたことを想定し、氷河期の終わりとともに海が広がり孤島化したがゆえに高山植物群がそのままのこったとする推測など、読み方がすごく立体的でおもしろい。
