Meet the dazzling Ocellated Turkey (Meleagris ocellata). This bird is a flashier relative to the typical Wild Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo). It sports a lustrous coat of colorful feathers and a blue head dotted with vivid orange bumps. The word “ocellated” in its common name refers to the eye-like markings on this turkey’s tail, which are similar to those found on a peacock’s plumes.

it's probably impolite to say "if you're a front end 'web dev' and you can't code a page by hand in html and css, go make hop-heavy craft beer instead, you know you want to, you feckless twat" but there isn't a day goes by i don't think it.

signed, me, a desktop user with 64G of ram, and 16 ARM cores who watches sites take 15-30 seconds to load maybe maybe 1k of useful text content as they shudder and shiver, tremble and quake with megabytes of js frameworks fighting with each other, slow loading content so i can't even reliably click on things as they shimmer into position then skitter out of the way.

I am forever impressed at how often telegram just doesn't actually work (app opens, but it stays in "connecting..." status for 10+ mins)

It hides it's downtime very well, but for a [instant messaging/propaganda] platform it sure doesn't move messages very often
