Stack Overflow is down... I didn't notice, as it's the weekend. But even if it were a workday, most devs now use LLMs. They get very few new questions, too. Overall, I feel like it's just a matter of time before SO goes to /dev/null. Effectively, AI summarization by Google and LLM tools killed it just like rest of the web. It is sad situation.
I finally got around to putting another front bike light on the commuter, so now I have a genuine pulsing front light for night usage (my current main front has only solid or flashing (or solid + flashes), with no genuine pulse). I already had the light but I wound up wanting some larger spare elastics for its mount because it was a bit of a streeetch to get it on the head tube where I wanted it.

I don't know what possessed me to try OpenSolaris again, but here I am, running 2009.06 in a VM!
Only thing is, the repos for software for this release have long been turned off, and the compiler tools are not included on the CD by default. If I can get the compiler tools, I can at least add pkgsrc to get software that way, but also my Solaris skills are not as sharp as they were.
Does anyone know if another repo exists for software for Solaris? And also a source for the compilers.

really, really impressed with posty: a mastodon archive -> html static site generator
it ingests your mastodon archive (post history) as a zip, and barfs out an entire static html site with indices and tags. all servable with any standard web server.
this is super helpful because when i shut down the dialup.cafe instance, there was no easy way to get access to my old posts and images.

還是想講一下想法，一開始我就知道不可能會贏，所以我把目標放在不要輸得太難看。
技術方面我絕對不可能贏過頭家，這方面唯一有可能的突破點就是，我幸運地做出比平常好的水準，而頭家不小心失誤。
這件事情確實有發生，我兩杯都做得超出我預期的好，而頭家也有犯了小的失誤，但因為好的程度及失誤的程度都不大，所以並沒有造成什麼影響。

那麼最重要的差異，就是來自美感了。
同樣都是鬱金香，但呈現方式可以很不同，線條堆壘的方式、各部份的大小比例分配，覺得怎麼呈現最美就完全取決於個人。
而雙翅天鵝的差異就更明顯了，我們的風格是完全不一樣的，從開底到翅膀，甚至連頭的方向也不一樣。
