@ajroach42Andrew (Television Executive) The W3C is captured by the simple tactic of the big corps sending 10 people for every 1 from other groups. Having any effect in standards is a full time job and it's expensive to travel to the meetings so few small groups have a chance to have influence.
Google having 75%+ browser share means they no longer need to negotiate, too.
