About the Taipo residental fire yesterday (26th Nov 2025), from various Chinese/Cantonese source:

1. There is a renovation going on in the whole housing estate.

2. The previous resident association decided to go for a questionable vendor in June 2024. The budget was high and the selection process was not-transparwnt. The then-chair was kicked in Sep 2024.

3. The newly-elected chair renegotiate with the vendor to speed up the process.
