Let’s talk about why Baseline browser compatibility doesn’t tell a complete story about whether or not a feature can be used “safely” by developers.

Consider `accent-color` (Not Baseline) versus CSS Nesting (Baseline 2023).

Browser compatibility is only a small piece: it’s far more important to consider the role the feature plays and how progressive-enhancement friendly that feature is.

CSS Nesting requires cross-browser ubiquity before use: `accent-color` is much safer, comparatively!

Pretty fascinating look at how "Covid changed everything", in 30 charts.

"Decades from now, the pandemic will be visible in the historical data of nearly anything measurable today: an unmistakable spike, dip or jolt that officially began for Americans five years ago this week."

Goodness, yet another trans woman trying to gatekeep transition and despite transitioning as a teenage, she some how thinks that the medication she was given as a kid was **not** reversible, when often puberty blockers are: youtube.com/watch?v=f1TE4mWQ5p

Yes, some puberty blockers may have an effect on fertility depending on medication, but still.

It's kinda exhausting seeing cis folks asking random trans people for information on medical matters, rather than trusting organisations that focus on medical & psychological topics.

If you'd like to support my work on the Fediverse, you can do so at: support.thisismissem.social

Right now your support really enables me to continue doing the work I do, as my only other source of income at the moment is my FIRES grant, which only pays out once milestones of work have been completed.

Whilst I'm working hard on FIRES, I'm also struggling financially following tax recalculations and a contract coming to an end. (Taxes went up, income halved)

I'm also still trying to contribute to other fediverse projects when I can.
