I just saw on Facebook that a Canadian woman from Vancouver with a work visa to the US got taken by ICE when she flew to San Diego. Then taken to Arizona, all the usual ICE detention hell.

It was only a matter of time before they did this to Canadians too. Couldn't pay me enough to cross the border.

This particular approach using companion matrices to analyze the trace sequence is especially powerful because it provides a constructive proof of cubic irrationality without having to explicitly compute the roots. The non-periodic nature of the trace sequence (3, 2, 2, 5, 11, ...) confirms the cubic irrational nature in a way that aligns with Hermite's analytical methods.

Last night I went to a Chinese massage place that had a one star review for ‘being so painful I couldn’t sleep’. It was exactly the place I wanted. Susan (from China) expertly and patiently worked on all the knots in my body. The infrared lamp on my back was lush. The place looked like crap (as places in this price range all do) but I felt like a brand new person.

Having lived most of my life in SE Asia, having good relationships with local experts in bodywork in different modalities is something that is important to me. It also often provides a window of connection for me in the diaspora as it almost always means I’m talking to someone in Mandarin, Indonesian or Thai.. for an hour.. while naked. They also always give me restaurant tips for the local area. I appreciate them so much!

What do you do?
Full-time gender expression.

I consider myself pretty femme gender-wise, but I really enjoy dressing confusingly androgynously. Love my rugged work pants and sweaters. Love playing with baggy things while also wearing fitted things. Love plaid! and flannel! and skirts! and textures! Love people not being sure what I am. It's not everyone's bag, but neither am I. And you know... I don't have to be for everyone. It's actually more fun that way.

I may have felt a bit weird a month ago when my doctor said that I was 'just starting' transition - but if even my doctor is confused, maybe I'm doing my gender expression right. (I have been playing with gender expression my whole life, and started playing professionally, with chemical assistance, in about 2019.)

GUI の操作体験、右手（ポインターデバイス）が「目的語（O）」で、左手（キーボードショートカット）が（動詞（V）」というふうに分業してると捉えたことがなかったけど、グラフィックツール使ってるとほぼそういう形に収束するし、自分もそれがパソコン（というか Mac）の操作のスタートだったから、いまでもそういう意識で体が操作に向かってる所あるかもしれない。

ちなみにギターは、右手の操作が発音するという意味では「動詞（V）」で、左手が発音する音を選ぶという意味で「目的語（O）」だから、Mac の操作のそれとは逆だけど、分業の形がちょっと近いような気がした。
