Was at a random IRL (non-tech-related) event in Berlin yesterday and overheard a conversation (in french) mentioning open source social media and I butted into their conversation and discovered it was someone complaining they had tried pixelfed but it was too buggy and confusing and they were talking about how if any of these "alternative networks" want to make it they need to copy the UI/UX of instagram as close as absolutely possible. ended up having a really interesting conversation with them
How I thought I'd use a standing desk: Randomly sit and stand through out the day to improve my health.
How I actually use a standing desk: I sit all day and only raise the desk when I need to cable manage something.

We live in interesting times. Friend of mine is a scientist in France. He just got briefing on what to do when traveling to the US. He was told to use an empty, freshly installed laptop with nothing but his presentation on it. Uninstall all messengers and social media. If he has to surrender any of his devices even for a minute, he shall get it checked by the French secret service for back-doors and Trojans.
I guess I rather stay home than going to a conference in the US.

I need help to collate some Nicole data. I've noticed they're exclusively using outlook.com emails so far, and I want to make a big list of known emails to send to microsoft
Please DM me with any emails from disabled Nicole accounts
You can automatically download and install binary packages by doing
pkg install <package>
This will also automatically install the packages that are dependencies
for the package you install (ie, the packages it needs in order to work.)
