#Fediverse とは直接関係のない話だけど、他の私企業のプラットフォームに乗っかるより自社でその仕組みを整備しようという動きは、いまのSocial Media の寡占とメタクソ化を考えれば自然に出てくるような気もするけどそれをちゃんと実行できる任天堂さすが、と思った。

たくさんの子供を含むプレイヤーがいる任天堂もだけど、自治体とか公共性のある団体も今後安易に寡占プラットフォームにベットしないほうがよいという雰囲気ができていくといいんだけどな。その代替手段…いや、むしろもっとよい手段 もいまはあるわけだし。

The pro move is to avoid React-ecosystem "CSS-in-JS" entirely.

@stefanoStefano Marinelli one of my favorite memories is standing at a restaurant terrace in Bowmore, Isle of Islay in late May 2002 with a friend who is also in IT, a photographer from Sweden, a manager of the Liquor Control Board from Canada and a musician from Italy. It was after 10 pm and each one enjoyed a dram of very fine single malt while gazing over the evening sky and watching the spectacular colors being reflected in Loch Indaal. A perfect evening.

I had a little table demoing https://ohmygit.org, a Git-learning game which @bleeptrack and I built back in 2020/2021! :)

I checked the numbers, and apparently it has been downloaded *175000 times* since then, which I wouldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams. Glad that it's still helpful for people!

(And to point that out, I've done many, *many* projects that completely flopped and never got much visibility at all!)
