fedi meta, lolisho

This might paint a big fat target on my back and sever connections (though i’ve occasionally talked about this here and nothing has really happened) but i figured it’s good to make my stances clear here as it could also make some feel safer around me.

Someone on Mastodon Network posted this:

If you are a self-proclaimed lolicon, if you enjoy sexualized artwork of characters who are minors, you are not welcome here. Please unfollow me immediately, and do not return.

And while i am none of these things, i have always strongly believed that there’s no such thing as “problematic art” that those who are anywhere near should be deleted from society - because those are my views of freedom. Learning in some recent years that actual victims of CSA find comfort in lolisho only solidifies those views further.

If you agree with what i quoted here, i would ask you to reconsider, otherwise you might be covered by the “bigots are not wellcome here” clause of my bio as you make some feel unsafe and discriminate them on the basis of them being “weird”. Block me, mute, unfollow, whatever. It’s fine if you want to stay far away from lolisho because it makes you uncomfortable but if you think those who engage with it are evil and should perish you should stay away from me please n thank you .

On the other hand, lolicons (be it CSA survivors coping with trauma, or ones with paraphilias using fiction as a safe harmless outlet, or those who like it just because) and otherwise “problematic” people or entities are welcome on this profile.

My brain feels like tapioca. I hate being sick. Negative for covid (so far), but given the season it could be anything. I feel like I’ve been getting sick a lot more over the past year.

One of the classic videos inside Google was "I just want to serve 5 terabytes of data", satirizing the complexity of doing anything at Google scale. The video features animated characters Panda Woman (trying to serve data) and Broccoli Man (presenting more and more obstacles). I was reminded of this video because I'm at the Phoenix airport and I'm sure that the synthesized announcement voice here is the same as Broccoli Man. I keep expecting an announcement of "Five terabytes is so little that I've forgotten how to count that low."
