Making a new thread so it doesn't ping Adrian who wants a concrete resource for this. I would say that forced colours mode and prefers-contrast aren't actually as tightly coupled together as it might seem at first glance.
prefers-contrast works as a standalone media query with support on iOS, macOS, Android and some Linux distros. It just so happens to have two values that are only ever set as part of forced-colors mode.

I'm debating shifting off of the main Mastodon.Social server to a more photography based one so that my explore and live feeds are more relevant.
Transformational technologies like microcomputers and smartphones were so obviously useful that rank and file workers were smuggling them into their workflows despite the best efforts of CEOs to stop them.
The "transformational" technology of LLMs is so obviously anti-useful that CEOs must resort to threats and coercion to get their rank and file workers to go anywhere near them.

I try to ignore how difficult it is to change themes in Hugo. On the other end of the spectrum, BSSG comes with a script that will render a separate version of my site in all 50+ themes. You know, so I can see all of them at once.

Hey Fedi Fam? Another Red Dead Redemption 2 question. I was about to push the button to buy it, and I remembered to check, is it first or third person view?
Looks to be third person by default, but has a first person mode.
Tell me. Is the first person mode an afterthought, or is it just as playable as the default third person mode?
I ask because I literally cannot play third person view games for more than a few minutes without getting dizzy. I think it is related to my Meniere's disorder. I just find them completely disorienting, and they push me toward vertigo.
Don't wanna buy a game that is going to be a lackluster experience for me.

Backing up the configs is a fracking shell script executed via cron. It's just a for loop that grabs the configs and set statements for each device on the network via SSH, ran however often I want it to. I stash them locally, and stash more copies remotely. Done.
