I have been happy to see the Palestine Platform website with common-sense demands for Canadian politicians to end the genocide in Gaza. I especially liked seeing the search by postal code, so you can quickly find which of your local candidates endorses the platform.

I had a wonderful time riding through Golden Gate Park with a friend. Can’t believe that JFK drive (and the great highway) used to be a car sewer, and that some people continue to want it that way.

Page Street slow streets all the way downhill to Hayes Valley is pretty nice too. They’re starting to do outdoor movies at Hayes Valley. The main risk of being in Hayes Valley is you might be surrounded by some 20 year old YC ‘founder’ into ‘AI’

The rest of it is pretty nice

Not me pouring hours of work into a free paper on how to plan for ransomware attacks in critical infrastructure, only for the top comment on LinkedIn saying the ransomware I’m on planes responding to weekly instead of sleeping isn’t actually a problem that exists in OT.

Rain/snow showers return to the Yukon Delta Sunday afternoon as the next system approaches. Showers then stretch north to St. Lawrence Island by Monday morning and to the southern Seward Peninsula by noon Monday. Showers are expected to be a messy rain/snow mix, especially in the Yukon Delta and lower Yukon Valley where the mix will be more rain than snow. Snow becomes more dominant for areas from Shaktoolik north, but showers will be less frequent there keeping accumulations light. Higher snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches in the Nulato Hills where much more of the precipitation will fall as snow. 2 to 3 inches total of snow are expected for St. Lawrence Island where showers that are mostly snow will last into Tuesday night.
