@stefanoStefano Marinelli in that case you have to change your docs for macOS - add bash to homebrew installation, because in normal way bash 3.2 is available in system and most of people use zsh as primary shell (macOS standard) and don’t need to install newer bash

Want to write a longer blog post about everything on my mind around foofaraw, but in the last week I've: added analytics, launched ads (for non-paid subscribers), returned to Instagram, added three new regular columns/features, and discovered MagicPages, which should reduce my costs AND allow me to launch a new daily newsletter for paid subscribers. Plus the regular day-to-day of reviewing fiction submissions, editing pieces, publishing, and am hard at work on the next four printed books!

does anyone know if there's a way to search a man page for a specific flag? whenever I search for “ -C" I always end up finding a bunch of other mentions of the flag instead of the flag's documentation itself
the only thing I know is to add a bunch of spaces before the -C

本以為長達一小時的長鏡頭會很沉悶，但想想如果很沉悶的話《 #混沌少年時 》的收視也不會那麼好了，就打開來看。EP1 從開頭就很緊湊，長鏡頭提供了「真實時間」，比如坐車移動了多久，觀眾就一起跟著鏡頭經歷了多久（難怪要設定警局離家不遠）。
雖然是長鏡頭，鏡頭跟隨人物切換了空間又在同個空間中有不同人物走過來說話、交錯，又自然地切換了鏡頭主角；藉由鏡頭主角頻繁的切換，展示事件隨時間自然地推進，真是嫻熟的手法。
猶記2000年左右我在大學上電影欣賞課，老師說到過去長鏡頭囿於膠卷長度的物理限制，難以拍出一鏡到底的電影，但是希區考克突破了這個限制；如今所有攝影都數位化，長鏡頭能有多長再也不是問題了（或者改為記憶卡容量的限制？），問題仍是：如何在長鏡頭中持續抓住觀眾的注意力？
以純粹的技藝來說，完全理解這部片的拍攝手法為何如此引人注目。

I've currently been doing a tonne of work on Doorkeeper, a Mastodon dependency for OAuth, and currently that work is mostly uncompensated.
I'm also doing a reasonable amount of work on the standards side (W3C & IETF), which is also uncompensated.
I'm not making ends meet at the moment, so if you can spare €5-10 a month, please do consider supporting my work on Mastodon, Doorkeeper, standards, and the wider Fediverse.
I'm currently running a deficit of about €1000-1600 per month, which is completely unsustainable.

@stefano@bsd.cafeStefano Marinelli Since the latest update to git my site no longer deploys using the script that worked before that last commit ??? It builds in the correct location but just does not run the deploy script even though it's set to true@ayoAyo! So the only issue I've encountered (really the only one) is lack of integration. There are alternatives to, say, Google Suite for everything, but Google Suite integrates with Google Suite (i.e. it's trivial to drop a Drawing in a Doc or a Sheet, or reference your Contacts, or attach a Doc to an email as either a sharable link or an embed).
But I think if enough people self-host, the incentives to build those integrations go up. Sadly, integration where there's only one right answer is the one thing the open-source community is most bad at (every example I can think of where it's not awful involved either a very charismatic dictator or a company adopting an ecosystem and solving all the integration problems).
Integration is really boring and adds friction to changing the systems being integrated, and that makes it hard to find people excited about it.
