블락당해도 그 사람의 게시물은 볼 수 있다. 다만 멘션과 인용 등의 상호작용을 못할 뿐 <-이게 머스크식 트위터 블락인데, 이거 스팸계정을 위한 최고의 기능이네? 광고멘션은 보내지만 그것에 대해서 인용이나 멘션으로 너 광고, 스캠 계정이지? 라고 말하는걸 원천적으로 봉쇄해버림.

The Rizzeta Stone: Adopting Gen-$α$ Colloquial Language to Improve Scientific Paper Rizz and Aura from a Skibidi Perspective

The field of astronomy evolves rapidly, and it is essential to keep up with these changes in order to effectively communicate with the broader community. However, communication itself also changes as new words, phrases, and slang terms enter the common vernacular. This is especially true for the current youngest generations, who are capable of efficiently communicating via the Internet. In order to maintain effective communication, we explore the possibility of expanding the language used in scientific communication to include recently coined slang. This attempt at outreach, while potentially very difficult, could provide a means to expand the field and capture the attention of early-career scientists, improving retention within the field. However, our results indicate that, while possible, this method of communication is, like, probably not really worth it, no cap.

Surprised by a shore bird, as one is.

Unusual enough to prompt me to add a photo to my observation as proof, and then I checked: turns out indeed "Greater Yellowlegs" is a Community Target*! 🎯

(*Not yet reported this month, but has been observed around this date in the past, so not unpossible.)

eBirding this month summary for my local area with various statistics and categories like New species seen this month. Shows a list of Community Target birds with their date last observed and a frequency graph showing when they are expected throughout the year. It includes the bird I saw: Greater Yellowlegs, last observed on Oct 6, 2024.A screenshot of my submitted birding checklist, showing 9 different species observed in a list, but one additionally includes a thumbnail of photo I took of the Greater Yellowlegs.A zoomed in photo of a Greater Yellowlegs standing on a damp beach in low tide at the waters edge amid piles of sea kelp/grass. 但跟人說在公屋住真的要麼惹來別人說「死窮鬼」，要麼就是「吃政府資源」的，不說還以為我是什麼騙政府錢的腥香港人一樣 :sacabambaspis_coerce:
