La Rive Sud de Rubicon est la vidéo de la série The Alt-Right Playbook qui m'a le plus impactée.
Je pourrais faire la liste de toutes les idées que cette vidéo m'a permis de formuler concrètement, mais le truc qui m'a le plus fait réfléchir, c'est le fait que j'avais déjà franchi mon rubicon depuis longtemps : lorsque darmanin a sorti à lepen, durant un débat télévisé qu'elle était trop molle sur l'immigration.
Et depuis, les choses n'ont fait qu'empirer. La repression constante et violente, la banalisation du nationalisme, de l'islamophobie et des discours réactionnaires en général, les attaques croissantes contre les mouvements et assos activistes, la désintégration des structures et procédures gouvernementales au profit du pouvoir présidentiel...
D'ailleurs parlons-en un peu parce que ça a été tellement banalisé que j'ai envie de crier. Macron a ignoré le résultat des législatives que son parti a lamentablement perdu et a élu sa première ministre comme si de rien était, alors que les centristes de meluche, techniquement grands gagnants sont dans une position de plus en plus vulnérable. Et le premier ministre actuel utilise le même discours que le rn. Et j'ai l'impression que ça ne choque pas autant que ça le devrait.
On ne va pas parler du reste des grands partis qui ont tous fait un grand virage à droite (et même les centristes de melanchon et ruffin suivent de loin).
On prend tout ça, on rajoute le fait que macron ne peut pas être réélu (enfin sauf s'il décide que finalement oui il peut le faire) et que son parti est complètement anecdotique sans lui et on arrive à cette conclusion: l'extrême-droite est aux commandes de l'état français depuis des années et en 2027, ça sera probablement concrétisé.
Les élections présidentielles sont dans 2 ans. On ne peut pas se permettre d'attendre pour agir. On est déjà bien à la bourre. Faut se bouger MAINTENANT.

Frpol, the alt-right playbook, what's happening now and what's next
No video of the alt-right playbook impacted me like The South Bank of the Rubicon.
I could talk at length about all the notions I had but could not clearly formulate, but the one thing I realised is that I was way past my own rubicon. A member of the government challenged marine lepen on immigration and mocked her on national tv during an official debate because she was, and I quote, "too soft".
And things only got worse from then. The constant and violent repression of dissenting voices, the banalisation of nationalism, islamophobia, and reactionary rhetoric on general, the attack on activist movements, the increasing violence and control of the state, the slow disintegration of the governmental structures in favour of the divine rule of the president...
And it keeps going down and down. A year ago, macron decided to ignore legislative elections and picked his own prime minister despite a humiliating loss. Le front populaire, the centre-left party trying to present itself as a wall against the right, is weaker than ever despite a very successful campaign and what could be considered a victory. The current prime minister (another one) is a far-right piece of shit.
And the rest of the political class is following suit. Every single party took a hard turn to the right, save from SOME of the socialist/communist leaning ones.
Macron cannot be reelected (unless he decides otherwise) and his party is politically irrelevant, so as far as I am concerned, the far-right is already in power, and it will very likely get even more power in 2027.
We can't afford to wait until then.
