Binary 5.3 has just been released as a small update. It comes with many translation updates and a few small updates.

Development hasn't been too active lately due to uni work and personal issues. I'm hoping to work on it a lot more over the summer and hopefully past that. In the mean time, get it now on flathub: flathub.org/apps/io.github.fiz

I’m quantenzitrone or short Zitrone, a mostly male #human.

I just moved here from #fosstodon because of some moderation drama there leading to some instances defederating, also because i wanted to switch to an instance hosted in Europe.

I like computers, especially those running #GNUlinux especially #NixOS. I’m currently setting up my #homeserver with NixOS. I maintain a few packages in nixpkgs.

I like #programming, especially in #Rustlang, sometimes when programming in other languages I notice that they are in fact not Rust. Sometimes I complain about it on Fedi

I may meow at you especially if you’re cute and/or meow-at-able

I study computer science at @uniheidelberg@xn–baw-joa.social.

This FEP update goes together with two others:

- FEP-2277: ActivityPub core types - The VerificationMethod class has the highest priority now, because servers must be able to identify a verification method even if it has other class-defining properties (e.g. href).
- FEP-fe34: Origin-based security model - clarifying the base assumptions of the model

The 386 processor is a 32-bit processor, so it works in 4-byte chunks. This network shifts bytes around so the chunk is aligned correctly. Bits go down the vertical wires, across horizontal wires, and then out the bottom. Energizing different wires provides the desired shift and lines up the bytes.
