Hackers' Pub is a place for software engineers to share their knowledge and experience with each other. It's also an ActivityPub-enabled social network, so you can follow your favorite hackers in the fediverse and get their latest posts in your feed.
If the posts, pages, podcasts, articles and videos etc on every website were all natively #ActivityPub items, the whole web would be part of "social media". But it wouldn't be right to call that "social networking". That would still just be what you're doing messaging and managing online groups with your friends, family and other communities. #SocialWeb

在長期的中國網路小說閱讀中，常常會看到這樣的樣貌。
主角因為因緣際會，獲得了非常棒的能力。這樣的能力可能是外顯、或是內隱的，但總歸可以漸漸獨當一面。
而主角發展能力時，往往考慮面面俱到，或是某項能力強到可以不顧及其他因素。對於同伴，則把自身作為啟明星，帶領其他人一同前進（即使主角本身沒有意願，也會於故事中這樣達成）。
也不確定是否讀的範圍太窄，但這樣從一開始就只想一個人完成所有事情的感覺，真是蠻孤獨的。

My work buddy is leaving the company. His last day is Friday. He is such a kind person and supported me in so many different ways. I am really going to miss him. When we released post editing for #Mastodon, we first released a version that supported processing and displaying edits incoming from other servers, before releasing a version that flipped a switch allowing anyone to make edits. We're taking an identical approach with quote posts, as the upcoming 4.4 version of Mastodon will begin displaying quote posts from other servers and software. Once this is widely deployed on the network, 4.5 will bring the long awaited ability to quote posts.
Okay, hear me out: what if we got rid of all the shitty apps and changed web browsers to be a dumb viewer for Wikipedia-like pages only? Maybe let other people host their own pages too, but they could all interlink, but they would just be text and styling so you could find information easier. Like some sort of connected web of documents that spans the world. Is that anything? Nah, probably a dumb idea.
