第一次這麼清晰地意識到，臺灣值得驕傲的地方不光是因為它是我們的國家，更因為我們是自由民主價值淬煉出的一顆寶石，我們的光值得照耀到全世界。

new release of #Fedialgo, the customizable timeline algorithm / filtering system for your Mastodon feed, counts the number of times each hashtag appears in your timeline even if people don't use a "#" character to give you a better sense of what people are talking about in the Fediverse.
there's a little bit of art vs. science here because some strings are disqualified from this kind of counting (e.g. a word like "the" should not be counted even if some maniac decided to make it a hashtag) so let me know if you see any weirdly high counts.

@82mhzAndreas (82mhz), I took a look at the weight of my blog.
The whole static-text blog (no images) on the host consumes 3.4MB of disk space. That includes not only the rendered posts, but all the robots.txt, RSS feed, tags/category/date pages, etc. The compressed tarball of the whole thing is ~650KB
The actual rendered posts only consume less than 1MB of space.
And pre-rendering, the input documents are ~400KB which ZFS handily compresses down to about half that.
So yes, the underlying content of my entire site fits on a 💾 twice over. 😆

My servers and services are humming along nicely since quite some years that way. email server, web server, my Forgejo instance, uptime monitor, some little tools — all managed with a terminal and some shell scripts. The most expensive part of my #SelfHost setup are the domain names renewal fees ;)

And at home I have my Cute Homelab that is, well, at home and not publicly accessible. That's where I can experiment and play. I try to document all that stuff in a rather ad-hoc manner on my blog [1] and my public gist collection [2]. I hope that sharing all of that inspires you to experiment yourself! To make your own mistakes and have your own success moments. And share your experiences. Trust me, it's totally worth it.

펜텔은 처음부터 끝까지 허술하거나 단순히 넘기는 부분 없이 깔끔하고 잘 조율된 펜을 만들지만 대신 비쌈. 돈 쓸 거면 펜텔.(이라지만 어차피 1회용 일본제 펜 레벨...)
역으로 말하면 동가격 대에서는 경쟁사 대비 큰 장점이 없음. 품질을 알아보는 고객들이 있어야 하는데 불황기 판매에 여려움을 겪었던 이유가 명확하다. 합리적이지 않지만 또 그게 재미인 회사.
