I often crop my photos in an effort to make them more abstract/composed/whatever but that means I sometimes can't even remember what it was a photo of to begin with.

I started looking through uncropped versions of photos and thought it was interesting to see how they started and how they ended up, so I figured I'd share some examples.

These are all color to black and white because they show the biggest difference from start to finish.

The most important thing to understand about Toronto’s approach to traffic safety is that - first and foremost - the life of any citizen is less important than the paint on any car.

Anyway, both of these pictures are across the street from a hospital and a school.

People here are currently busy illustrating that "the steady state of disks is 'full'" axiom. Keep N% of your filesystem empty for best performance? Oh, I wish.

(People could purchase more space on our fileservers, it's cheap and readily available, but the relevant suspects seem uninterested in doing so for now.)
