한국의 레트로와 잔혹한 현실

당시 한국이 미국, 유렵, 일본보다 잘 사는 나라는 아니라서 근본적으로 물량이 부족하고 결국 레트로에서 이해가 부족한건 어쩔 수 없습니다.

그래서 한국보다 늦게 발전한 중국은 한국보다 레트로에 대한 이해가 더 떨어지는 편입니다. 중국이 레트로에 대한 이해력이 높았으면 취미생활하기 참 좋을건데... ​:blobcatgooglydrool:​

The actual anniversary was last week, but it’s Pride in London today and I’m remembering last year, when I skipped Pride but stumbled on a small protest at the NHS England offices while I was out walking in the evening

2015年に能川元一さんと作った『憎悪の広告』（合同出版）のまえがきで、私たちはこう書いた。

「読者の目を捉えるべく〝売り〟となるフレーズが強調された広告は、雑誌本体とは独立したメディアとして機能していると考えてよいのではないでしょうか。例えば、日刊全国紙に掲載される広告のフレーズは〝これはおおっぴらに使ってよい言葉なのだ〟というメタメッセージを伴います。そしていまや、「反日」のような憎悪に満ちたフレーズは右派論壇を越えて、テレビをはじめとする一般メディアでもあたりまえのように使われるようになっています。」

あれから10年、いまや選挙公報や選挙をめぐるニュースで、憎悪のメッセージが平然と飛び交うにいたった。それにともなって、〝これはおおっぴらに使ってよい言葉なのだ〟的に社会的に形成される読者・視聴者の意識も愚劣・下劣な方へと導かれてゆく……。
