We had a little field trip to the awesome Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment in Oakland today. I got to play Ball...whatsitcalled?...Blazer on vintage hardware, one of the first Lucasfilm games. But more importantly check out the photo of the actual physical NeXT "pizza box" workstation used to design the original levels in Doom. Not a lot of British representation - though there is a Spectrum on display.

Played the music to Goldeneye 64 in the car back to the office - the best video game music ever.

Congratulations to the winners of our Summer of GNOME OS challenge 🎉🎉

1. Ada Magicat (40 points)
2. Ignacy Kuchciński (37 points)
3. Forteller (26 points)

This was very much an experiment, but everyone I talked to said it was surprisingly smooth, and they'll continue to daily drive GNOME OS.

Thanks to everyone who participated, it was a lot of fun! And thanks even more to the GNOME OS team for getting us this far, especially @ValentinValentin David, Abderrahim, @alatieraJordan Petridis, @AdrianVovk, and @jjardonJavier Jardón!

Sharepic with a rainbow background. In the foreground there's the centered text "Summer of GNOME OS", surrounded by a cloud of summer-related symbolic icons.

It’s ! Featuring everyone’s favourite Chime Frogs, The Froggy Bottom Bois!

The Chimer in Chief here is ready to kick off the weekend, but it looks like they may be missing a member of their quorum… 🤔

…Nevermind, there they are! Like many of us, this straggler is just hanging in there at the end of the week.

A cuban tree frog pops its head out of the top of a black metal windchime. Its hands are folded up under its chin like a person impatiently waiting at a table. The light bronze side-eye speaks volumes. In a foregrounded tube is another out of focus frog just barely peeking out with its back to the viewer.Lower view looking up the long windchime tubes. The previously shown froggo running the meeting is way at the top and out of focus, but right below the centerline of the image is another cuban tree frog gripping the outside of one of the tubes, slowly working its way up to join the others at the top. In the background is a lot of out of focus greenery, blue skies, and puffy white clouds.
