70年代の美術批評言説を洗ってみると、藤枝晃雄が美術批評のゲームチェンジャーになっている。いわゆる御三家(中原、針生、東野)は反芸術の影響がやはりおおきく、宮川淳もふくめて、言説としては制度論といっていいとおもうけど、70年頃に限界を迎えているように見える。彼らが、作品・作家の傾向を洗いだしてその状況を名付け・問題として明確化していったのに対して、藤枝は個別の作品分析をして、「芸術論」的なものはあとづけででてくるという態度を出している。藤枝と別な傾向としてでてきているのが、李禹煥や美共闘ら若手の実作者が批評言説を繰り出すという状況で、これも御三家にたいする反発がわりとある。

TIL that goldenrod is a native species in Ontario (although an aggressive spreader) and extremely popular with pollinators and insects and etc. That unattended area overrun with goldenrod? Not a bad thing, it turns out.

(The name 'Canadian goldenrod' sort of gives it away, but I didn't really know what it was and I only started suspecting it was a native when I spotted it in the Gatineau Meadowway on a recent bike ride.)
