Folks, some incredible news:

A couple of weeks ago, a national theatre chain axed our release of Jeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile because it mentioned Donald Trump.

Now, because of you, Jeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile will run on over 25 screens throughout the world.

why not embrace fashtech! they’ve got:
- terrible Fisher-Price CSS
- the most toxic part of the Wayland ecosystem, and that’s saying something
- the worst part of the X11 ecosystem, and that’s saying something
- suckless tools and they all fucking suck
- corporate control over the packages you wrote, for your own protection
- distributed functional programming that doesn’t function or distribute

Hey friends: Is there some kind of severe rate/connection throttling in base sshd? I was able to connect once and then since then, it hangs. If I telnet to port 22 I do get a banner but the key exchange just hangs and I get a connection reset after a while.

Am I better off disabling the base sshd and install openssh server?

Jimmy Kimmel's worst case scenario was moving from prime time to a podcast. Mario Guevara's is being shipped to El Salvador and facing more of the persecution he fled 20 years ago.

If that happens, the chilling effect will be impossible to measure.

So I've been getting a lot of spam calls today, so when one popped up I was like screw it, let's mess with them. So I answered, went "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH," and hung up. Then I got a text that said "Are you okay? Do you need me to call for help?" And that's how I learned I didn't have that person's number saved in my phone. 😭

So I guess that's what I'll be thinking about every time I'm falling asleep for the next 30 years.

Learn to love your darkness, By MpieraM design

:clippy: I love the concept that the darkness is here a comfortable companion and not a foe. Instead of being scary or empty, the night sky is portrayed as something beautiful and personal, literally flowing from her as an extension of herself.
I also really like the art style. The crisp, black and white line work of the everyday bedroom creates a wonderful contrast with the deep, cosmic texture of the galaxy.

A surreal black and white illustration of a woman lying upside down on her bed. Her long, flowing black dress billows upwards, transforming into a vast, star-filled galaxy that fills the top of the image, complete with planets and a shooting star. Her detailed bedroom includes books, a record player, and a wall decorated with photos.

okay, i told scruss i'd share this and here it is -- a micropython library for receiving data slowly, but reliably, over a photocell. it's how the halo clock gets configuration data without using wifi or bluetooth -- you just hold the clock up to a web browser, and a little circle flashes, sending a brief packet of data (e.g. wifi credentials). both the receiver (in micropython) and the sender (in javascript) are included.
