Trying to diagnose this Soyo Pentium 2/3 board, not much time today (story of my life). It powers on with the power button and even turns off correctly. Post Card analyser shows voltages and reset isn't stuck, but no codes at all.

Another Ubuntu frustration.
Third party software distributed through Launchpad is supposed to be tagged with what Ubuntu release it's for. Ubuntu releases are identified in the tags by name, not version number. Each release gets a name working up the alphabet, so 10.10 was Maverick, 11.04 was Natty, 11.10 was Oneiric, etc.
This worked fine until there were enough Ubuntu releases that Canonical ran out of letters, because then they wrapped back to A and started over. So it's your job now to remember that 11.10 was Oneiric and 24.10 was Oracular, because if you mix them up you'll be getting software from 13 years before
