I realized that I had never done 10 PRINT on my NEC PC 8201a. The process was complicated by the fact that / and \ are not adjacent in the character map so I couldn't do the elegant form of 10 PRINT. Also the line spacing makes the output less than ideal. The 8201a let's you define your own graphics characters. If I get some more free time maybe I'll make some better slashes that are next to each other in memory. #retrocomputing #basic #10print #pc8201

@perthoTom after removing old stuff, /usr free space increased from 205M to 394M. I ran upgrade once more to make sure I didn't delete anything important. This free space was enough to complete the upgrade without any issues.
To save disk space in your home directory, compress files you rarely
use with "gzip filename".

SQL “views” allow you to package up a complex query into an entity that can then be queried as if it were a table in its own right. This is an amazing tool for hiding complex queries behind simple interfaces.

坦誠地說，我其實挺怕在mastodon寫性別議題，因為實在太容易被廣泛傳播和誤讀了。
我對於新一代的性別議題活躍人士是有些害怕的，這些人就像狂風一樣，遇見一個話題，尚未來得及深入思考（你們也許認為自己思考過了，但是很抱歉，你們經歷尚淺，還不夠立體看問題），就大量的觀點和情緒輸出，以及站隊，這其實仍然是一個認知偏差的問題。
中國、東亞，其實全球的性別不平等都依然嚴峻，但是各有不一樣的問題。所以在討論性別議題的時候，社會文化背景是必須考慮的因素。
我覺得一個很有趣的例子是，J.K Rowling 和 Emma Watson 的爭議，有這麼多站隊 Emma 的人，但是這些人裡面估計沒有幾個人真正讀了二者事件的各種文本，尤其是 Rowling 幾次引發 Emma 猛烈攻擊的原文以及考慮她文中說的事情的一些背景。（很多叫喧得很厲害的人，都是二手三四手資訊的手還在）
我特別討厭談起女權就要導向性別對立，談起跨性別就一定要完全支持否則就是右派恐同，談起女性成長就一定要對決男性，每次看見這些話題的時候，尤其是我的文字被一些經常有這些情緒表述的人轉載的時候，我就會感到不舒服。
雖然按照資歷來說，我是有資格說一些話的，但就算是在長毛象這樣的平台，我也十分謹慎。但這是我的個人平台，所有觀點僅代表個人意見，所以我還是要說，並且我沒有掛小鎖是因為這就是一個半公共發言。
只是我又忍不住得冒出來說一聲，不要因為我的幾句話就把我引為知己，因為很可能我改天就會說出讓你完全不喜歡的話來。而且如果你不能和我有相似的邏輯能力和對話技巧的話，你會在我這裡感到不過癮的。
畢竟我老了，早就過了論戰的年紀了 LOL 我真的沒有年輕人的活力哇！
