FUCK ME!

Monday 11-17

When the insiders start pulling out, you know you have a bubble.

> Peter Thiel dumps entire Nvidia stake, slashes Tesla holdings amid bubble fears. ca.investing.com/news/stock-ma

(Apparently Thiel has been doing it the sneaky way since July.)

Meanwhile today's market is mixed.

> Wall Street fluctuates ahead of Nvidia results, government data. reuters.com/business/us-stock-

Coming this week: Nvidia's earnings report and the US jobs report.

Tuesday 11-18

It appears the market is expecting bad news from both the Nvidia earnings report tomorrow and the official US government economic figures out Thursday.

> U.S. stocks extend sell-off, Treasury yields drop as valuation worries weigh on risk appetite. reuters.com/world/china/global

Again we are seeing money flee from tech and to blue chip industrials and other 'safe havens'. Forex, US Treasury bond yields are down, meaning more people are bidding on them.

Does anyone have or stats (preferably from a few different servers) about numbers of bad-faith actors being identified, banned, etc.? I've become pretty interested in this from a methodological point of view. I'm thinking of running some simulations to explore possibilities in a "calculate some stuff and make some graphs" way. Actually, if someone already did that, I'd be keen to read it.

I'm interested in how to detect "bad eggs," realizing as I think about it that I don't even know all the questions to ask, and this entire line of investigation has some thorny issues I'll need to deal with. I think infosec.exchange might, in some ways, be the perfect server to be on for this, because I am pretty sure that has huge overlap with this whole domain.

is helpful. is even more helpful.

Okay

Old person problems

I have found eating half of one of these before eating dinner makes my body substantially happier

metamucil.ca/en-ca/products/fi

However

Rexall stopped carrying them
And then Loblaw's stopped carrying them

Both these stores have metamucil, but only in liquid form (which my stomach doesn't like) or in chocolate form (which i don't like) (yeah i said it). How could I go about finding a supply of these either at a store in Toronto or mail order within canada?

Here I am, setting off on a short journey to convert this old Python 2 program that uses email.Message and company to Python 3 like a good person.

<cue Gilligan's Island theme music>

Yeah, I get it, Python 3 wanted to blow up the world to make it better. Well, they sure blew up email.* very well. I may leave this program as Python 2 forever.
