RE: mas.to/@pekkatahkola/115594611

this reminds me of the infamous Chicago winter Boondocks Sunday comics panel:

Huey & Riley are freezing in a corner in their down jackets waiting for the bus. a schoolmate in t-shirt and shorts asks, “you guys cold?”

am Huey & Riley just looking at this picture 🥶

There is a book called Normal Accidents:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_A

The author puts forth three rules that define systems susceptible to catastrophic accidents which are completely to be expected:

- the system is complex
- the system is tightly coupled
- the system has catastrophic potential

This describes huge cloud providers like CloudFlare very well, and specifically describes the last outage very well.

CloudFlare, AWS, Azure, GCP are simply Too Big Not To Fail.

Some fuckknob just tried to scam me out of my Google account. Tried to recover my account twice (from Boise) then called me on the phone pretending to be Google Security Team, asking about if I had any attempted logins, then told me to accept the account recovery pop up
