Why? Because media types with parameters are distinct types from media types without parameters, and the latter is what we declared we wanted to accept. Also, q isn't a parameter, and cannot be. It can only be used for "quality".
Like, if you use the accepts package from npm, and you say: accepts(request).types(["application/ld+json"]) And then pass a request that uses: Accept: application/ld+json; profile="https://www.w3.org/ns/activitystreams" Then it will return null instead of a match.
Good gosh, content negotiation with the Accept header is some truly weird stuff.
In manufacturing, a small change to the product can totally alter your process.
For example... let's say you're putting a MEMS microphone on a PCB.
Easy enough to assemble, but it affects the manufacturing process—because you can no longer simply wash the boards without risking damage to the component.
