How many is too many slides for my forty minute talk on celestial navigation for ? Currently around fifty and still have a few diagrams to make.
(My usual pace is thirty seconds per image, so I think I still have room for more)

one of the slides with a sextant, almanac and math done in longhand

Picked up a $10 ESP32-C6 DevKit to play with Embedded Swift over the holidays. Spent a few hours trying to the C-based “Hello, World!” program built and flashed. The SDK install and build went fine but flashing wouldn’t work. Tried all sorts of cables and arrangements. Googled, ChatGPT’d, read forums, couldn’t figure out why the communication was failing.

I like that when you're renting IP address space, they say you should return it how you found it.

I mean, it makes sense if you think about spam databases and everything, but it's still very funny to me. Like, yeah, I'm going to get those IP addresses a good once over before I give them back.
