After seeing some #AI #privacy posts about #ChatGPT claiming to not be able to see your location, IP, or anything I decided to test it.

With no account or history, I asked it a few questions, and sure enough, it not only knows exactly where I am but is gaslighting me into thinking it was pure coincidence.

A friend followed the same instructions and got the same results in his location as well.

Yikes.

Guess I got my exercise riding a dead ebike but also a replacement battery costs more than a decent non-e-bike, which is truly insane. 18650's don't cost THIS much, and your BMS needs to account for "a bike". Not a car, just a bike. How the f can you justify "this battery costs $1000"?

Does anyone have some good learning materials for someone who is very new to graphics programming, but needs to interact with OpenGL-Esque primitives (without anything like Glad/etc. in the mix)?

I dunno I feel like everytime I open up an example i get one of two things:

• it's like "yes to draw the triangle first you take your vertex shader, and pixel shader and your vertex attribute buffers which you should use an index offset so you don't have to call set attribute buffer everytime if nothing has changed", and I feel like I've skipped to drawing the rest of the owl real quick.
• It's like "here's this library that if you can use makes everything super easy just call DRAW_Circle and your circle is drawn congrats!" (which in this case I absolutely cannot use).

Is there a: "I want to learn to draw basic shapes without the libraries, and without immediately jumping into here's shaders and vertex buffers and good fucking luck"?

If there is complete. go-to abstraction package (like clap), I prefer #rust mostly because of its type system. I like embedding the logic under types. If the ecosystem is not mature enough, I prefer #golang because it's suited to situation with less abstractions so I can develop fast.

Flying is the absolute worst way to travel. Why did we do this to ourselves? We used to have trains. We could still have trains. It doesn't have to be this way
