Addendum to this whole thing: I learned that Karol is telling people that there is evidence against me, but that sharing it would put people in danger, so he can't.

In effect, this means that the Freedesktop CoC team is actively choosing to judge people based on secret evidence, without giving them any opportunity for due process or defense.

For whatever it's worth, I have no idea what that evidence could possibly be. It might be forged, or unreliable. I am deprived of any opportunity to defend myself against it.

Needless to say, this is not how any CoC team should conduct itself, and every member of and contributor to the Freedesktop ecosystem should be concerned. What happened to me could happen to anyone.

(TLDR background: Karol is an FDo CoC team member who has allowed an abuser/stalker/doxxer to befriend him, and has chosen to personally and financially support this person and effectively boost their abusive narrative. I do not believe Karol means harm, but I do believe he is highly gullible and not qualified for the position. I say this as someone who has met him IRL, I'm not a random stranger to him.)
