Let‘s Encrypt on following new CA standards to reduce certificate lifetimes to 45 days in 2028 - with opt-in steps before that.

Also mentions the DNS-PERSIST-01 challenge that will put aways with DNS record updates every time you renew a cert.

Decreasing Certificate Lifetimes to 45 Days

Let’s Encrypt will be reducing the validity period of the certificates we issue. We currently issue certificates valid for 90 days, which will be cut in half to 45 days by 2028. This change is being made along with the rest of the industry, as required by the CA/Browser Forum Baseline Requirements, which set the technical requirements that we must follow. All publicly-trusted Certificate Authorities like Let’s Encrypt will be making similar changes. Reducing how long certificates are valid for helps improve the security of the internet, by limiting the scope of compromise, and making certificate revocation technologies more efficient.

UR 내견하러 24일에 도쿄를 가기로 했습니다.
사실 24일은 UR 쉬는 날이긴 한데
그래도 일단 가서 이래저래 물건 조사하면서
어무니랑도 잘 이야기해보는 걸로 하고
되도록이면 연휴 이전인 28일에
최종 결정 및 신청을 해서 돌아올 생각입니다.

1순위 신청이 가능했음 좋겠네요ㅠㅠ

Sagt man, dass man keine Big-Tech-Dienste nutzt landet man teilweise in der Aluhelm-Schublade. Dabei hat es nichts mit irrationaler Angst zu tun, solche Dienste zu meiden und seine Daten nicht leichtfertig herzugeben. Ausgerechnet ich werde als „Schwurblerin“ abgestempelt, nur weil andere sich nicht die Mühe machen zu verstehen, was ihre Apps tun. Und während man mir Paranoia unterstellt, liefern sie täglich Futter an Konzerne, die Profit über Ethik stellen.
