이번주 월요일부터 내가 배포하는 릴리즈(데스크탑 앱)에 어느 위치에서 설치했는지 신호를 한번 보내는 기능을 실험적으로 추가했다.
기록 도구로는 PostHog를 사용하고 있다.
그동안 기록 기능을 아예 넣지 않아서 프로젝트마다 사용대수가 슬롯당 100대 단위로도 꽤 있었는데 집계가 안되고 있는게 아쉬워서 뒤늦게나마 추가했다.
이제 2일차인데 해외에서 설치 신호가 좀 들어온다. 러시아, 체코, 미국, 인도 등 다양한 위치에서 설치 시도가 보였다. 이 중 일부는 기존 사용자의 업데이트도 있을 것으로 추정된다.
조금 더 지켜보고 기록 적용 범위를 어느정도 선까지 확대해야할지 정해야할듯
That appears to be a standalone message of some sort. Judging from the condition of the surface, it can't have been very important to the sender. They probably didn't think very highly of their culture. Nonetheless, the presence of the message makes me think this might've been a place of honor, commemorating some esteemed deed.

I hate the "cattle vs. pets" framing of managing larger clusters of computers with automation, implying that managing small clusters or single machines is done manually.
I hate it because managing a single machine without a framework suitable for automation has been generally poor practice *forever*.
But I hate it even more because the foundation of the metaphor is that it is OK and normal to treat livestock without compassion or care. It is quite simply not.
Retire that framing, please.

It's clear to me that some Korean gender-critical feminists, also known as TERFs, don't understand the true effects of the recent amendment to the Act on the Protection of Children and Youth Against Sex Offenses.
From Article 13 (Intent) of the Criminal Act:
> An act performed through ignorance of the facts that constitute a crime shall not be punishable: Provided, That this shall not apply where a statute provides otherwise.
The amended law still won't punish people who were unaware of the facts that constitute sex offenses against children or youth.
