It has been my habit since exiting Twitter to no longer share anything personal publicly but this conversation that folx are having regarding children who go “no contact” has been triggering.

I haven’t spoken to my mom since August 1, 2023 because maintaining that relationship was a burden that I could no longer bear and I grieve that loss everyday. I miss the relationship I wish we could’ve had.

Nearly 3 million people signed the petition ‘Do not introduce Digital ID cards’ .

The government, however, is pushing ahead regardless of public concern. Democracy?

The government is at risk of creating a digital infrastructure that will fundamentally change how we live. What begins as an ID card could quickly expand into a system where we are forced to prove who we are as we go about our daily lives.

In June, the Department of Justice began targeting clinics and health systems which provide treatment for gender dysphoria with subpoenas requesting personally identifying information about patients. While these subpoenas currently target clinics which provide services to minors, it is clear that they are testing the waters for expanding their inquiry to adult patients.

Es gibt (außerhalb der Fantasie von Konservativen) keine "Luxusharzer" und Sozialhilfeempfangende, die einfach nur eine Behinderung vortäuschen, um sich ein schönes Leben zu machen und nicht arbeiten zu müssen.

Selbst angeblich ernst genommene psychische Erkrankungen, die vorgeschoben werden, um nicht weiter nach körperlichen zu suchen, sind oft nicht weit davon entfernt und werden behandelt, als wäre es eigentlich auch nur "Faulheit", die man aber ein bisschen weniger verurteilt.

Another canary in the collapsing coalmine.

A paper today in Nature by Borlaff et al. on the impact of ever-increasing numbers of satellites in low-Earth orbit on space telescopes like Hubble, SPHEREx, & CHEOPS today, & Xuntian & ARRAKIHS in the future.

The number of proposed satellites is eye-watering, & the effects on astronomy horrendous – there are wider effects on pollution of the upper atmosphere & safety of key orbital assets as well.

Innerhalb von 3 Monaten ist nun fast mein gesamter Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis von zu und umgezogen.
Mit mir sind auch 2 mir wichtige Gruppen zu , eine davon mit über 20 Leuten.

Die einzigen, die nur Whatsapp und nichts anderes wollen, sind ein paar ältere Familienmitglieder.
Eins davon hat mir jetzt einen echten Brief per geschrieben, da ich ja sonst nicht mehr erreichbar bin :)
Auf dem Laptop läuft und ich mache weiter mit .

Als Kind hat mir ein Polizist erklärt, das Fingerabdrücke nur genommen werden wenn ich Verdächtiger in einem Verbrechen wäre. Wenn dann noch Bilder gemacht werden, dann nennt man das Erkennungsdienstlich erfassen.
Heute habe ich einen neuen Personalausweis beantragt. Digitales Bild von mir und zwingend (nicht mehr freiwillig) meine Fingerabdrücke. Habe ich damals was falsch verstanden oder ich bin heute Erkennungsdienstlich erfasst worden.
