So. AI, in its current form as a marketing term for LLMs and generative AI images, simply doesn't work. That's well established by now, and is the understanding that's consistent with theory a priori anyway.

But there's another aspect to AI boosterism that gets to me. Even if AI *did* work, which again, it doesn't, that *still* wouldn't justify the massive transformations that AI boosters demand we put society through.

이렇게... 졸업 전시회가 끝났습니다.
캡스톤이 이렇게 끝나다니
허무하기도 하고 시원섭섭하지만
뭔가 뿌듯하기도 하네요.
지긋지긋하기도 했고 내 삶의 일부였던 대학생활이
정말로 끝이 난다는 게 참 만감이 교차합니다.

一、 金圓券 (1948.08.19 - 1949.07.03)
1. 發行背景
法幣崩潰：抗戰及國共內戰期間，政府為支付巨額軍費大量印鈔。法幣發行量從1945年的5,569億元激增至1948年8月的604兆元，惡性通貨膨脹導致法幣形同廢紙。
財政改革：為挽救財政，蔣中正於1948年8月19日頒布《財政經濟緊急處分令》，採納翁文灝、王雲五的方案進行幣制改革。
2. 發行與管制措施
兌換比率：金圓券1元折合法幣300萬元（東北流通券30萬元）。
含金量規定：每元法定含金0.22217克。
發行限額：初期承諾發行總額為20億元。
強制收兌：禁止私人持有黃金、白銀、外幣。民眾須在限期內兌換成金圓券，違者沒收。
黃金1兩 = 200金圓券
白銀1兩 = 3金圓券
美元1元 = 4金圓券
行政手段：凍結物價於8月19日水平；蔣經國在上海實行嚴厲的經濟管制（俗稱「打老虎」），打擊囤積居奇的資本家（如杜月笙之子杜維屏）。

I've been using AWS at $day_job for 11 years.

I can safely say to anyone who is looking into using AWS for their computing projects: DON'T.

Not only is Amazon one of the most evil companies on the planet, their AWS is one of the worst cobbled together pieces of garbage I've had the displeasure of using. Not only that ... They charge you a premium for the displeasure.

They will also try to lock you in to their services so you're dependent on them; they actually "dumb down" I.T. in doing so.
