So. AI, in its current form as a marketing term for LLMs and generative AI images, simply doesn't work. That's well established by now, and is the understanding that's consistent with theory a priori anyway.
But there's another aspect to AI boosterism that gets to me. Even if AI *did* work, which again, it doesn't, that *still* wouldn't justify the massive transformations that AI boosters demand we put society through.

Good morning Fediverse. It's time for another JSON-LD rant.
What I have done with defining activities in fedi-herds violates every JSON-LD principle. I mean, I defined a bunch of activities and didn't assign them URIs. That must drive every JSON-LD lover into desperation.
Why did I do this? Well, I was building something. I didn't know what the final result will be. I still don't. I might want to change stuff quickly (and did! Can you find the CreateList activity?). Using JSON-LD stops me from doing that!! So if you want people to innovate, we desperately need them for the Fediverse, discourage JSON-LD.

生前葬に詳しい人に質問です
家事で写真が燃えてしまってアヘ顔ダブルピースの写真しか残っていないのですが、遺影はこれでも大丈夫でしょうか？
저는 예민하다는 말을 듣기보다는
섬세하다거나 세심하다는 말을 많이 듣는 편인데,
그런만큼 사람들한테 상처도 참 많이 받는 편입니다.
그리고 사람을 사귈 때 얕게 사귀고 필요할 때 쳐내는 식으로 사귀는 걸
태생적으로 못하는 편이에요.
여러모로 SNS랑은 결이 안 맞는 경향이 있죠.
하지만 마스토돈을 운영하면서
이용자 분들이 계정 이사를 해야 할 일이 없도록 하고 싶고,
제가 연합우주 자체를 그만두고 싶지도 않다보니
머스타드를 없앨 생각은 딱히 없어요.
다만 제가 그동안 많은 팔로워를 받으면서
좀 쉽게 피곤해지고 날이 서게 되는 경향이 많아지더라구요.
원래 사람을 깊게 사귀는데 깊게 사귈라 하면
손절이 되는 관계가 너무 상처였어요. 적응도 안됐고요.
그리고 너무 민감한 사회적 이슈 이야기를 하면서
의견을 냈을 때 쳐맞기도 많이 맞았고요.
정작 극단적인 의견을 낸 사람은 안 쳐맞는 걸 보며 어이가 없기도 했죠...
의리를 지키기 위해 한 행동도 나를 지키기 위해 한 행동도
부당하게 평가를 받고 계정 정지를 당하기도 하고
여러 일을 겪으면서 인간관계에 대한 회의도 많이 겪었습니다.
그래서 저의 태생적인 성향에 따라 많은 계정을 정리했는데,
근데 저랑 안 맞는다 싶은 계정도 많았지만
아예 연합우주에 안 돌아오는 계정들 투성이라(.........)
접속 잘 안하는 부계들을 이번 기회에 싹다 정리했어요.
후련하네요.
부계도 좋긴 하지만, 어지간하면 본계에서 뵙도록 하죠.
본계 서버가 터졌으면... 어쩔 수 없지만요.
