The first time I saw google glasses in person was at a hacker con, where the dweeb wearing them was trying to show off and be important.

I used my theatre projection skills to speak "OK Google: goatse dot cx" and the guy whipped them off his face instantly and did not wear them again for the rest of the con.

I'm going to keep saying this in my effort to speak it into reality: Supreme Court should have at least 100 Justices with rotating panels (and maybe an en banc option). No single Justice should have so much power and they shouldn't be names everyone knows.

A court with a normal-ish conservative majority would have been tolerable. I'm not eager for court packing, impeaching justices, and other such options. But this court sticking around post-Trump is untenable. They've already torched their own legitimacy, the only question is what do we do about it. [contains quote post or other embedded content]

🕶️ Its GUI (enter "$ winecfg" in terminal, usually not necessary) giving access to its parameters via a series of tabs. The tab displayed is "About", with the tool's logo (a wine glass) and a short summary of its libre license. 📚️ Wine is a libre, multi-platform tool for running Windows applications (and DOS applications via a call to DOSBox) on Linux without requiring a copy of Microsoft's operating system. Wine is not an emulator, but an application that translates Windows API calls into POSIX calls on the fly, avoiding the memory overhead and performance losses inherent in other methods, and allowing you to cleanly integrate Windows applications (of all versions) into your desktop.
