3 photos of the little grebe (Tachybaptus ruficollis), they are really tiny water birds, even a little smaller than rock pigeons (common pigeon, Columba livia), but this one was so fluffy and looked bigger than usual... might be just because its feathers were dry... the one in the 3rd photo looks tiny as usual since it is after diving #bird #nature

I wonder if there's a cop show with an episode where they find hair in the hat of the person, think it's a suspect, bring the person in and it turns out it's just the person who crocheted the hat. Because gosh I think all my crochets have at least 1 hair of me in them 🤣

駐港國家安全公署今日（6日）發表聲明，表示針對近期有關大埔宏福苑火災及立法會選舉的虛假訊息，公署依據《香港國安法》相關規定，對一些在港外國新聞機構的負責人及記者進行了約談。公署在聲明中嚴厲批評部分外國媒體涉港報道罔顧事實，散播虛假信息，旨在歪曲抹黑政府的救災善後工作，並攻擊干擾即將舉行的立法會選舉。

公署指出，有關報道挑動社會分化對立，破壞了香港當前和衷共濟的氛圍，既未有體恤火災災民的痛苦，亦傷害了香港市民的感情，嚴重誤導國際社會認知，公署對此表示嚴重關切。公署強調，任何媒體均不得借「新聞自由」之名干涉中國內政或香港事務。所有在港外國新聞機構及其人員必須遵守《基本法》、《香港國安法》及《維護國家安全條例》等法律，恪守新聞職業操守，堅持真實、客觀、公正的報道原則，不得編造傳播虛假信息。

Linus Tech Tips: There was a recent thing from a major tech company where developers were asked to say how many lines of code they wrote, and if it wasn’t enough, they were terminated. And there was someone here who was extremely upset about that approach to measuring productivity because it means nothing.

Linus Torvalds: Oh yeah, no, you shouldn’t even be upset at that point. That’s just incompetence. Anybody who thinks that’s a valid metric is too stupid to work at a tech company.
