향후 정책 방향은 경제지표 따라 크게 달라질 전망이라 함. 고용·물가·소비 흐름이 연준 판단의 핵심 기준이 될 가능성 높음. 인플레이션이 아직 목표치만큼 안정된 상황이 아니라 금리 인하 속도 지나치게 빠르면 물가 반등의 위험도 존재한다고 하니... 반대로 경기 둔화가 더 뚜렷해지면 연준이 추가 인하나 완화적 조치 검토할 여지도 있긴함 아마 연준 의장 바뀔때까진 유지되겠지만 바뀌면 또 내리려고 하지 않을까 싶고 ㅎㅎ

다만 연준 내부에서도 의견이 많이 갈렸다고 함. 이번 회의에서도 반대 의견 적지 않았으며, 향후 인하 속도는 더 느려질 수 있다는 신호도 있었음. 점도표에 따르면 앞으로 1~2회 정도의 소폭 인하 가능성이 언급되지만 확실한 흐름이라 보기 어려운 분위기임. 시장에서는 이번 인하가 인하 사이클의 막바지에 가까울 수 있다는 해석도 꽤 나오는 듯함.

뉴스 나온것을 보니 이번 연준 금리 인하는 고용지표 둔화 영향이 컸다고 함. 실업률 4%대 중반으로 오르면서 노동시장에서 힘이 빠지는 흐름을 보여 연준이 위험 신중하게 본 것으로 보임. 최근 정부 셧다운으로 주요 경제지표 공개도 늦어지고 품질도 떨어져 정책 판단 어려워진 상황이라 불확실성 커졌다는 평가 있음. 이런 이유들로 연준이 경기 부담 완화 차원에서 0.25%p 정도 인하 결정한 것으로 이해됨.
