Two baby echidnas have found themselves in expert care after being accidentally unearthed during building works in Victoria, #Australia. The orphaned puggles, as the young are called, were disturbed when two separate burrows were uncovered – one by an excavator clearing a paddock and the other beneath a concrete slab.

Northern Fox Fires

In a Finnish myth, when an arctic fox runs so fast that its bushy tail brushes the mountains, flaming sparks are cast into the heavens creating the northern lights. In fact the Finnish word "revontulet", a name for the aurora borealis or northern lights, can be translated as fire fox.

Holy misleading Wikipedia articles, Batman! This article loves to pretend that a bunch of things that could I guess technically be termed AI have anything to do with the modern sense that's being pushed by the tech bubble. Electric Sheep uses a genetic algorithm wholly powered by knowing users. It is not generative AI. But if you read this article you sure wouldn't know that. Someone needs to take a hatchet to this article.

Well, RIP my PL class, ChatGPT and Claude can now produce plait code that compiles.

I hate all of my options:
* Make the exams worth more (probably what I'll have to do)
* Record every editor keystroke to make sure they didn't just cut and paste (terrible for privacy and also probably infeasible)
* Rewrite my language every year in an arms race of ever-more-obscure syntax
