델이 RAM이 부족하다는 이유로 가격 올리면서 모니터 가격도 올림. (모니터엔 일반적으로 메모리, 램이 들어가지 않음) 어쨌든 컴퓨터로 일하는 사람들은 앞으로 표준적인 사양 맞추면서도 최소 예전 대비 100만원 정도는 더 내야하는 상황이 계속 될 듯.

The TL;DR is that Baochip is a "mostly-open" RTL SoC in 22nm TSMC, purpose-built for Xous and expressly packaged for IRIS inspection. It packs in five RISC-V CPU cores (one Vexriscv CPU at 350MHz, and four PicoRV's at 700MHz), 2MiB on-chip SRAM and 4MiB on-chip RRAM (basically FLASH).

I'm aiming to have the chip broadly available by early 2026. Right now I have first silicon. You can follow development & ask questions on the Baochip discord at discord.gg/yesbcPF9Xy

Everytime I read something like this it makes me so angry.
The fact that a society has been letting this happen for so long and so often that there are now regularly people who live through a second mass shooting before even finishing their education is the most shocking indictment of US politics

One is Mia Tretta, a junior who was shot in the abdomen during a 2019 shooting at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, Calif. Ms. Tretta, 21, was studying for a final exam in her Brown dormitory on Saturday when she learned of the attack. She had been planning to study at the Barus and Holley engineering and physics building, where the shooting took place, but had changed her mind because she felt tired, she said in an interview. “People always think, well, it’ll never be me,” said Ms. Tretta, one of five students shot in Santa Clarita, two of them fatally, by a 16-year-old classmate. “And until I was shot in my school, I also thought the same thing.”

이거 진짜 급속노화돼서 허리랑 다리 고관절만 불편해져도 흔들리는 버스랑 지하철에서 손잡이 잡고도 휘청대게 되고 만원 대중교통의 사람들은 남녀노소 좀 화가 나있는 상태라서 아 똑바로 못서있어요? 왜 자꾸 기대요? 이래서 안좋은 컨디션에 사람 많거나 1시간 정도 가야 할 때는 그냥 집에 있게 됨… 이게 바로 한국 길거리에 장애인이 없는 이유라는 것도 알게 되었다 “몸이 불편한 사람은 집에나 들어앉아있는 게 당연하니까”
