福岡縣朝倉市一處主要推銷給外國客戶的建案，在本月一日遭到市府宣佈預計撤回。
這個正在建設中的建案，目前預定住戶40%為中國客、40%為港台客、20%為日韓客。建商為中國企業集團。這個建案被懷疑是要在人口嚴重外移的朝倉市，進行實質上的「殖民地化」。網路社群上有許多反對此建案的聲音，連署撤回的活動甚至有超過五萬人響應。儘管這些聲音沒有任何法強制力，卻成功讓自治政府考慮此建案對地方造成的嚴重影響。
這個建案預計建築兩棟各14樓的大廈，入住戶數290戶，依照每戶大小估計住滿約705人。
抗議聲浪除了網路連署的五萬人之外，朝倉市收到1,250通抗議電話。有趣的是，建商也知道這波巨大聲浪，因此在10月宣佈建案規模縮小，改為只建築一棟、內含164戶。但是，這並沒有讓抗議聲浪減少。朝倉市民開始上街頭、寫實體抗議書（2,395名市民）連署，並要求市府居中協助開辦居民協調會。
五年前：中國企業買下了朝倉市一處高爾夫球場，地方原以為新企業接手，是為了重振高爾夫球場經營。沒想到，企業買高爾夫球場是為了蓋房子賣。
這是目前最近的反擊「寂靜收購戰」案例之一，向朝倉市民致敬。

It is so wild to notice how much US English pronunciation has changed with words like "mountain", "important", etc.
