I’m working to implement importing PSD Adjustment Layers in GIMP.
Some adjustment layers won’t be available until we can support Descriptor attributes (hopefully in 3.4). But others could be implemented if I knew which GEGL filter(s) to match with.
The ones that would be “easy” if I knew a matching filter are:
- Photo Filter
- Vibrance
- Exposure
- Selective Color
I was hoping someone here might have some ideas. Any help is appreciated!

이로 인해 기온이 전체적으로 높아지다보니 화이트 크리스마스의 가능성은 물건너 가게 되었습니다. ECMWF와 GFS 모두 23~25일 사이 저기압이 연해주 근처를 지나갈 것으로 예상하고 있는데요. 베링해 고기압이 강하게 블로킹을 하고 있어 저기압의 팔 자체는 크게 뻗어지지만 반대로 저기압대로 유입되는 바람이 불어오는 해역 인근의 온도가 매우 높아 눈 대신 전국적으로 비가 내릴 것으로 전망됩니다. 핫하 화이트 크리스마스는 무슨 비나 잔뜩 내려라(...) 기온 배치를 봐도 최저기온이 이브날 쭉 올랐다가 다시 떨어질 것으로 예상되요.
내일은 저기압의 접근으로 인해 새벽부터 비가 내리다가 늦은 오후 무렵에는 그칠 것으로 보입니다. 예상 강수량 자체는 얼마 되지 않는데요. 제주도를 제외한 전국이 5mm 전후의 강수량을 기록할 것으로 보입니다. 다만 전남해안은 5~10mm, 제주도는 5~20mm정도의 비가 내릴 가능성이 있습니다. 오늘 내일 예상되는 금번 난동 경향성을 보면 높은 해수온의 영향, 베링해 고기압의 영향이 동시에 보이는데요. 평년대비 한반도 인근 해역의 해수온이 여전히 상당히 높다보니 열 에너지 공급도 활발해져 남풍이 불때마다 기온이 크게 오릅니다.
오늘 전국은 대체로 흐리겠습니다. 부산경남 일대에는 5~10mm 가량의 비가 오기도 하겠는데요. 아침 최저기온은 -6~6℃, 낮 최고기온은 5~19℃(!)이며, 주요 도시별로는 서울 0~11℃, 대전 -2~13℃, 대구 -1~13℃, 광주 1~16℃, 부산 6~15℃, 제주 9~19℃입니다. 제주도 낮 기온은 이게 12월 중순이 맞나 싶을 정도네요. 미세먼지의 경우 강원 영서의 경우 새벽~아침에 잠시 대기 정체로 인해 '나쁨'수준이 예상되지만 이후 연직 확산이 활발해지며 전국적으로 보통~좋음 상태를 보일 것으로 예상됩니다.
이로 인해 전국에는 구름이 잔뜩 끼어 있는데요. 복사냉각이 약해져서 생각보다 기온이 떨어지지 않고 있습니다. 이후 저기압대가 지나가면서 일차적으로 바람 방향이 남풍으로 변경, 비가 내리면서 기온이 급등하겠습니다. 하지만 바로 뒤에 차가운 한랭 고기압이 오면서 바람 방향은 바로 북풍으로 바뀌며 일요일에 기온이 거의 10℃ 가까이 떨어지는 기막힌 알씨가 예상되는데요. 기온이 이렇게 크게 변할때 신체 리듬이 깨지기 쉬우니 주의를 기울여주세요. 예상되는 기온 급락 시점은 토요일 늦은 밤부터니, 자기 전에 미리미리 보온조치를 당부드립니다.
착잡한 마음으로 열어보는 12월 19일, 크리스마스를 앞둔 금요일 날씨입니다. 토요일 오전, 전국에 비가 예상되는 가운데 오늘과 내일은 급작스러운 난동이, 그리고 일요일과 월요일엔 또 이상할 정도로 급작스러운 기온 하락이 있을 것으로 예상되니 주말 동안 대비를 잘 해주셔야 할 것으로 보입니다. 하지만 전 어제부터 목소리가 살살 맛이 가고 있는게 이미 늦은 것 같습니다 ;_; 일기도부터 보시겠습니다. 한반도는 북쪽에서 밀고 내려오는 저기압대를 바라보고 있습니다. 이동성 고기압은 서서히 물러가면서 한반도는 고기압 언저리에 있어요.
그리고 사설에는 '정전체제 흔드는 정부/여당 움직임'이라면서 차곡차곡 미국과 엇박자를 가고 있다는 빌드업까지 하고 있습니다. 물어보고 싶습니다. 정말로 미국 CIA조차 모르게 계엄을 추진하면서 북한을 도발해 국지전, 최악의 상황에는 전면전까지 일으켜 수많은 생명을 사라지게 하려 했던 자는 누구입니까? 이들에 대한 날 선 비판을 먼저 해야 진짜 '보수'의 정체성을 지키는 것 아닐까요? 미국 대통령 허버트 후버는 "전쟁은 늙은이들이 일으키고, 피는 젊은이들이 흘린다"고 했습니다. 청년들 코인 투자 어쩌고 이전에, 살게부터 해야죠.
그런데 이상합니다. 분명히 북한이 적대적 두 국가 관계 선언을 한 것은 2023년 12월 당시인데요. 그때는 한참 윤석열이 비상계엄을 준비하면서 북한의 무력도발을 유인하고 있던 시기이기 때문입니다.
애초에 김정은이 했던 전쟁 국가, 적대 국가 선언은 윤석열의 전쟁 준비에 대한 히스테릭한 반응에 가까웠다고 봐야 합니다. 한반도에 전화의 위협을 잔뜩 풀어놓은 정말로 위험한 이들때는 입을 꾹 닫고 있다가 정작 평화를 추구하는 사람들이 정권을 잡으니 갑자기 치킨호크로 변신한 '보수'언론이 웃기기만 합니다. 무려 그걸 1면에 쳐박아놨어요.

중앙일보는 <北 도발해도 쏘지 마라? '상황 평가'부터 하라는 국방부>라는 제호의 기사를 아침부터 내보냈습니다. 당연하겠지만 또 다른 북풍몰이에 가깝습니다. 그런데 사실 상황 발생 시 당연하게 한국군의 대응 절차는 경고방송부터 하면서 상황을 파악하는게 우선입니다. 특별히 다를 거 없습니다.
그런데 종양ㅇ.. 아니 중앙일보는 매체의 논조를 지키겠다는 듯 한술 더 떠서 "실상 경고사격을 줄이란 지시로 받아들였다"고 인용했는데요. 그렇게 하지 않아야 할 근거로 "적대적 두 국가 관계"선언을 들엇습니다.

I’ll just say this: For the very most part, the systems of our society do not reward creators. They reward people who have power over what is created.
A deep part of our society’s mythology is that we reward people with great ideas, people who make great things — and therefore those who are rewarded must somehow be great.
That is false. If you see someone rewarded, the most likely explanation is that they had power to reap rewards.

The omnipresence of autocorrect troubles me because it enforces language normativity and discourages playfulness. I appreciate Germannic languages because they allow creative and evocative use of compound words, but autocorrect adds significant friction to this process. I worry about ossification.

Not everyone uses everything we make, but that is also the point. The fact that we listen to special requests is IMHO a feature and not a bug. We value power users as well.
On the other hand, we have stayed away from certain things. Things like:
- Blockchain / Crypto currencies
- AI
You can find us on Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android and iOS. You can even find us in many cars running Android Automotive.
We are not the largest browser company in the world, but we are dedicated and we are growing. More and more are giving us a try. Have you?

@gnome I daily drive GNOME and donate monthly as it is simply beautiful. I want GNOME to stay independent and further improve the parts I miss: proper support for background apps, good runtime permission handling, more flatpak integrations and a good native mailing application.
