My grandfather would have turned 98 today. RIP Grandpapa.
He was born to a Jewish family in France. He was too young to enlist with the army during the war, so he joined the Resistance instead. He never spoke about his experiences and was a pacifist for the rest of his life. I think about him a lot these days.
