如果有人曾經試著想這麼做的話，就會發現要對白人進行種族歧視／羞辱並不是一件很容易的事情，因為可以利用的負面刻板印象太少，且insult很講究直覺反應，還需要無知和惡意來放大傷害，使用邏輯運算的勝率是零。
我的第一次種族歧視經驗是小學暑假在美國走回旅店的路上，時間大概是傍晚，途中偶遇四名青少年後他們就開始尾隨我，幾秒鐘後其中一個人發難道「f*ck you」，大概是覺得人多膽大，接著他們像在演話劇一般一人一句接著說，「and your mother」、「and your brother and sister」。當時我覺得很莫名其妙，也覺得他們幼稚又白癡到很好笑。
後來旅居異國時，令我驚訝的是我開始會反擊歧視言論，一方面是因為每天發生太煩了。有個斯洛維尼亞生每次打照面就叫我中國妹，煩不勝煩之後我就回，「你斯洛伐克人」，他超氣，後來我們每天都要這樣吵五分鐘。遇到豬哥義大利人就三隻指頭捏在一起用很拙劣的腔調跟他說pizza或pasta，看球賽的時候如果德國隊在對面一定要叫他們巴伐利亞隊。
想了一下夜邊遇到的鏗鏘歧視，我想我大概會對他們眨眨眼，搭配一個兩只指頭點額朝外的手勢跟他說希特勒萬歲。
