39C3: Recreating Sandstorm

I finally managed to build a image for my #Raspberrypi using #disko.

The Pi boots with UEFI and has a LUKS paritition containing BTRFS.
There is still a lot to do but I'm getting really close to a usable state.

I still find it very satisfying to build these kind of things with #NixOS

I have just learned that, beginning in 3 days, my employees will no longer be able to receive their work email.

Apparently Google is dropping support for Gmail accounts being able to fetch mail from outside accounts. At all. And they announced this change less than 60 days ago. (The announcement was in the basement, stairs, leopard, etc.)

However, it still supports Python 2.7 by depending on the six compatibility shim, and I’d prefer not to install it for Python 3.10+.
