I’m getting old because I understand these Leonardo Cohen songs better than I did as a young person. (Also I don’t like some of them as much as I did once. )

I also understand Rage Against The Machine better— and rather than finding it immature as I thought I would eventually I sit there and agree. Like they are singing the alphabet.

Wow, Loops.video has seen a dramatic increase in activity since the new mobile app update was released, setting new DAU and interaction records!

Once we fix the profile bug and a few open issues, we will be submitting the app for review on the App Store (and Play Store next month).

2026 = The Year of Loops 🚀

Your worst self-insert, derivative, cringe, fan-fiction is a higher form of art and more worthy of preservation and appreciation than *anything* an AI has ever made.

It contains more meaning, says more about the human condition.

Give me “Jeff the Killer” and that horrible pony storynot this slop!

Anyone aware of an affordable 5-12 port switch with proper management & PTP transparent and/or boundary clock support? Primary or secondary market is fine. < $300 CAD, GigE+, PoE would be nice.

My survey so far:

  • Arista - 710P series seems to have good support, but not remotely affordable
  • Aruba - no PTP in small switches
  • Cisco - no PTP in small switches (some industrial models do have)
  • Juniper - no PTP in small switches
  • Mikrotik - CRS326-24G & CRS318-16P support BC mode, but neither hit the form factor and both are a bit expensive.
  • Ubiquiti - Maybe in some of their newer Pro products, but out of budget and seems nascent and barely mentioned.
  • fs.com - IES3110 seems to support at least transparent mode, but industrial form factor is a bit of a turn-off. Seems like the best option though. None of the campus switches seem to have support, though I am curious enough about PicOS I might get one anyway (and maybe one day they add support).

There's the Switchberry project by @geerlingguyJeff Geerling and friends, but it doesn't seem baked yet.

Anything else out there?
