Looking Back at 2025, Looking Forward to 2026

Pizzas, tiramisu, stickers, and plenty of coffee. But above all, people.

My 2025 has been a journey from Canada to Croatia, reconnecting with old friends and launching new projects. In a difficult year for the world, I chose to focus on the light emitted by positive figures, who are often the quiet ones.

I’ve realized that many posts and photos from conferences I shared before joining Mastodon (2019) are now basically trapped on Twitter/X.

They still exist, but accessing them has become difficult.

I’m considering moving to a self-hosted Mastodon instance and importing some old tweets to “free” them.

Has anyone tried this?
Any guides or tools to recommend? 👀
