This was an incredibly hard year, but I’m proud of how I showed up through so much loss and disruption in such a short span of time. On the days I wanted to shut down, I imagined myself as the main character in a movie (with a good ending) and asked myself: what would she do next? Then I did that. I hope everyone only experiences wealth and prosperity in 2026 but if you need a tip to get over life’s shit luck, it helped me.

Holdings from the #library at the #GoddardSpaceFlightCenter, which includes unique documents from the early 20th century to the Soviet #space race, will be warehoused or thrown out.
The shutdown of the library…is part of a larger reorganization under the Trump admin that includes the closure of 13 buildings & >100 #science & #engineering laboratories on the 1,270-acre campus by March 2026.

그 뭐냐 보석에 환장하는 혈육이랑 무슨 주얼리 전시회 어쩌구를 간 적이 있었는데 시대별로 만들어진 주얼리들이 전시된 것 중에 이게 18세기 프랑스였나 그때쯤에 만들어졌다고 하니까 혈육이 하는말이 "이러면 혁명 당할만했네"
Be My Eyesでお手伝いしてるときとか「ラストマン」の劇中とかで聞こえてくる読み上げ機能の音声は、僕が聞き取れる速度の2倍を超える速度でいろいろとしゃべっている感じがする。ポッドキャストとかも僕は等速で聞かないと頭に入ってこないのだけれど慣れている人は速度を上げられるんだろうと思う。

Saddened to hear of the passing of computer graphics luminary Loren Carpenter. I was lucky to have worked with Loren as part of the RenderMan team at Pixar, and benefitted enormously from his kindness and wisdom, especially in the early days. The respect and patience that he showed me in my junior days meant a lot to me.
