Behold, a feeding frenzy of Plum Sharks!

Plum sharks AKA kererū, the NZ wood pigeon.

Plums are in full fruit in Ōtautahi-Christchurch city, NZ, at the moment. I was on Valley Road today in Cashmere there were at least 11 kererū feasting in the plum trees up the side of the road.

I think plums are one of the big reasons that these birds venture down from the hills into the city at this time of year.

Happy Solar New Year! My goal for this quarter is to figure out what kind of work I want to start looking for, and to put together a solid resume. To that end, I have a favor to ask. I was asked by a family member why it was taking so long to paste something large into a new Microsoft Word document on their computer, I sarcastically replied it was because it takes a while to upload it all to the copilot AI nonense first. And then I realized accidentally I might be right...I disabled copilot in Word and it went back to being instant again

So that's cool that Microsoft seems uploading everything you paste into a new Word doc to their servers now.

아직도 삼성NX 시스템 이해가 안되는 결정들이 있는데.. 1.플레인지백이 깊음 여러 보호구조를 넣을 수 있으니 장점도 있지만 그래서 센서쉬프트 손떨방이라도 장착 했냐면... -_- 오히려 렌즈 이종교배도 안 되고.. 이해가 안되는 첫번째 결정 2. 풀프레임 생각 안함 뭐.. 이건당대 센서 가격이 비싸니 좀 넘어가고.. 3. 호환렌즈 개방 안함 이게 아직도 이해가 안되는 지점인데.. 아니 렌즈군 자체가 부족한 입장에서 탐론이나 시그마 렌즈라도 돈주고 끌어들여야 한거 아닌가 싶은데...

From the 1500s to the mid-twentieth century, the events that took place in the Caribbean – from conquest, colonisation and capitalism to racial slavery, revolution and migration – and the people who forged them played a seminal role in creating modern Britain and the Anglophone Caribbean.






By the 1960s, Western global empires had begun to crumble. Yet the British Empire in the Caribbean did not end. Instead, colonialism was replaced with a new type of power whose impact can still be felt: neo-colonialism. Empire Without End offers a new interpretation of the British Empire, its enduring entanglement with the Anglophone Caribbean and the longevity of systemic racism. Taking a longer historical perspective starting in the period of European contact with the Caribbean and ending today, Imaobong Umoren looks at the impact and legacies of racial slavery to explore how later linked histories relating to capitalism, class, labour, war, political economy, poverty, gender and culture are crucial to telling the full story. In doing so, she sets out a compelling strategy to define our roles and responsibilities in challenging the legacy of colonialism and hierarchy – a legacy that continues to blight our society and our politics.

그러면 설거지가 쌓이지 않고 유지 내지는 조금씩 줄어드는데
